Apple To Save GM and Introduce The “iCar”
Tech Industry leader Apple Inc. announced today that they have begun negotiations with GM to produce the fully electric Apple iCar. Apple will be partnering with Shai Agassi of Better Place, who recently announced their plans of moving the US to electric vehicles by 2016. This announcement at the TED conference in February 2009 caught the eye of Apple’s founder Steve Jobs and started the wheels moving for this next step of the Apple evolution.
“When I received word Apple was interested in our technology, it was exciting,” said Agassi, “but I’ll admit Apple was not the type of company I was expecting to hear from.”
